Call for Student Papers
The Board of Directors of the Science and Health Review (SHR) invites College of the Redwoods students who are completing independent study projects in courses during the Spring 1997 semester to submit articles on their independent study projects for publication in a special student edition of the Science and Health Review. Student papers should pertain to efforts and research in science and health. Student papers will be selected on a competitive basis and refereed by the editorial board of the Science and Health Review. Articles accepted for publication will appear this summer on the Internet, courtesy of the Science and Health Division homepage. Printed copies of this special student edition of SHR will be released at the beginning of the 1997-1998 school year.
Faculty members of the Science and Health Division are urged to make this educational opportunity available to students who are completing their independent study projects this semester. Students and faculty advisors will be able to gain useful experience while drafting, editing, and finalizing student articles for publication in the SHR. Articles should be submitted to David Arnold (CR ext 6917). David will be available for helpful advice about content, formatting, and word processing, and will answer the questions of students and faculty advisors regarding the publication process.
Don't miss this opportunity to provide an excellent educational experience for your students.
