Registering on the
Online Testing System
- Before proceeding any further, you should decide whether you
intend to remain in the course. To help you decide, I have made a couple of free
previews available on the testing web site, so that you can first have a look at
the testing system and how it works.
- Directions: Go the the testing web site, and then choose Online Testing Preview for a brief look at the testing system. If you want a more extensive look, choose Unit 1 Preview.
- You will need to obtain a PHGradeAssist access code
from your instructor. You must also have a valid email address.
- Note: If you purchased an access code
last semester, then it should still be valid this semester as well.
- Read all the instructions given in items "a" and
"b" below. Then go to http://phga.pearsoncmg.com/phga/modules/pearson.sms.StudentLogin and follow the instructions
there. This window will remain open for reference.
- In Step 1, you will need the access code that you purchased.
Once again, be sure that you intend to remain in the course before you open your
access code, because it is not returnable once it has been opened.
- If you already purchased and used an access code last semester,
you should go directly to Step 2.
- If you are asked for a "student ID number",
type in your College of the Redwoods student ID number.
- Be sure to remember the login name and password
that you have chosen, as you will need to enter that in Step 2 and for every
assignment that you take on the testing system.
- In Step 3, enter CRmath25 for the "Class ID".
- After your registration is complete, you can access the testing
web site for our course at http://phga.pearsoncmg.com/phga/classes/CRmath25/ . Be sure to write this down and bookmark the link on your browser. The
link is also available on our course web site.
