N.B.: This is a "hybrid" class: part in-class and part online. This class requires both in-class attendance and LOTS OF online work, done independently. All testing is done online, in the presence of an exam proctor, outside of regular class time.

William Lowell Putnam Exam

The Putnam Exam is an annual continentwide mathematics competition for undergraduates.
This year's Putnam Exam will be given on Saturday, December 1, 2007.

Homework Hotline

"Homework Hotline" is a LIVE, call-in program designed to help students with math and science. It airs on KEET-TV Channel 13 LIVE on Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30-5pm.
This Fall's season of "Homework Hotline" will begin September 25, 2007.

Eel River Valley Math Vertical Team

The Eel River Valley Math Vertical Team is a group of teachers, from middle school through college, working together to improve coordination and instruction for all their students in mathematics.

CMC-Far North Conference

This year's CMC-FN conference will be Saturday, October 20, 2007, in Arcata.
