Additional information about Math 152 "The Math Lab":
  • At the Eureka Campus, The Math Lab is located in the ASC in the LRC. Consult the schedule below for Math Lab locations at other sites.
  • Math teachers are there to help explain mathematics and answer your questions. At times there are also advanced math students who act as "peer tutors."
  • Most students who go to the Math Lab, sit there for a while to study and work on homework. When they get stuck or want more information, they raise a hand, signalling to a tutor that help is desired. -- That's basically what happens in the Math Lab.
  • If you register for Math 152, then you can 'drop in' during open hours for math help.
  • You get CR or NC depending on whether you spend enough hours working on math, during open hours. To get CR, you need 45 hours (not 54) for the 1-unit section, and 22.5 hours (not 27) for the 1/2-unit section.
