The 72^nd William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition will be held this year on Saturday, December 3, 2011, 8-11am and 1-4pm.

Students who do not have a bachelors degree (in any discipline) and who have taken the exam fewer than 4 times are eligible to participate.
The registration form must be sent in early October. Let me know if you are a CR student who wants to sign up!

Our Putnam Prep "Pizza and Problems" Sessions for this Semester are: Fridays at 4:15pm in PS 117 on Sept 16, Oct 7 & 28, Nov 18, Dec 2. See the Pizza & Problems webpage on the Math Dept website. Spread the word! Anyone interested can come and join in on the fun! N.B.: All students are welcome to the problem-solving sessions regardless of whether they want to participate in the Putnam Competition this year (or ever).
